Up here in Apeejay House on Park Street, things are always moving. Aj Tea House Pvt. Ltd. has been sitting in this building for a long time. Park Street is always loud and full of people, but inside the office, it’s mostly just us and the smell of tea. Being at number 15 means we see a lot of the city passing by. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate thing even though we’re a private limited company. It’s mostly just a group of us who know a lot about tea. We spend our mornings checking on things and making sure the orders are moving along. The building itself has that old feeling, which we kind of like. It’s got thick walls and a lot of history. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We get a lot of regulars who stop by just to see what’s new. We don't have a big sign or anything. Most folks find us because they’ve been coming here for years. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the product rather than trying to look impressive. There’s usually a pot of something brewing in the back. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes around, but we manage just fine. Working in this part of town has its ups and downs, but we wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s a good spot to be for tea people like us.
