You can find Bhaskar Tea & Industries Ltd. on the second floor of 2 Brabourne Road. It’s an old building in a very busy part of the city. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but we are used to it by now. The office is usually full of the scent of tea and the sound of people talking on their phones. We’ve been operating out of this space for many years. It isn't a modern office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly old wooden desks and piles of paper ledgers. We prefer it that way. It feels like a place where real work happens. Brabourne Road is always crowded with people and vehicles, so looking out the window from the second floor is always interesting. We have a small group of staff who have been with us for a long time. We handle everything from the sourcing to the industrial side of the tea business right here. It’s not always organized perfectly, and sometimes things get a bit chaotic, but we always manage to get the orders out. We don't use any fancy corporate talk or slogans here. We just deal with the tea and the people who buy it. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. Being at number 2 is easy to remember once you are on the street. It’s just how we do things.
