Jadavpuruniversity is located at 10/45/5 N. N. Road in the Dum Dum area, Kolkata:28. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but once you find N. N. Road, it isn't too hard to locate the specific building. We have been in this part of Dum Dum for many years now. The office is on a street that gets quite busy during the morning rush hour with people heading to the station. Our space is tucked inside a building that has seen a lot of history. The rooms are a bit narrow, and we have to be careful with how we stack the files so they don't fall over. We don't use much technology besides the basics, so there is a lot of handwriting and physical filing going on. The ceiling fans hum constantly in the background, which is a sound we have all grown used to. We have a small staff here, and we all know each other’s families and stories. It makes the workday go by faster. When someone comes in with a question about the university, we do our best to find the right file or person to help them. It is a very traditional way of working, without any of the polish you might find in a corporate office. We just focus on 10/45/5 N. N. Road and making sure everything there is handled properly. It is a plain and simple operation, and that is how we like to keep it. The front door is always left open.
