Our place is at 28 Deshpran Sashmal Road, tucked inside the CIT Quarter in Block E. We are in Room Number 4. It is right near the Charu Market police station, so it is usually quite easy to find if you know that part of Kolkata. The building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history. Inside our room, things are pretty basic. We have a couple of desks, some plastic chairs for people to sit on, and piles of files that never seem to go away. It is not a place with air conditioning that works all the time, so we rely on the ceiling fans. Kolkata summers can be tough, but we just get on with it. You can hear the trams and the buses on the main road throughout the day. It provides a bit of background noise while we work. We have been in this spot for several years now. Most of our neighbors are residents or other small shops. We do not have a big fancy sign outside. Usually, people just knock on the door or call us up. We handle various tasks and paperwork that come our way. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady. We like being near the market because it is convenient for lunch or grabbing a tea. If you are looking for us, just head toward the CIT Quarter. We are usually there from morning until late afternoon.
