Our place, Hss, is situated in Doly Nibash on Lic Road. We are in the Bijoly Park area of Devigarh, which is part of Madhyamgram in Kolkata. It’s a residential neighborhood for the most part, so it has a very lived-in feel. The building is called Doly Nibash, and that’s how most people identify us. We have a small workspace inside where we handle our daily business. Kolkata weather can be very humid, so we usually have the fans running at full speed. The office is filled with the usual stuff—stacks of paper, a few old computers, and some cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been working together for a long time. Lic Road is usually busy with people going about their business, so there is a constant hum of activity outside. We like being in this part of Madhyamgram because it feels like home. There are small tea stalls nearby where we often take our breaks. We don’t have a corporate handbook or any fancy rules; we just show up and do what needs to be done for the day. It’s a very straightforward and practical environment. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you come by, you'll see us just working away at our desks, surrounded by files and the sounds of the neighborhood.
