You can find us on Jessore Road in the Rajbari Colony part of Kolkata. We are very close to the 2 No Airport Gate, which means we hear the planes and see the airport traffic all day long. Happy Journey Tours & Travels is basically just a few of us sitting in the office handling bookings. It’s a busy street outside, so there’s always honking and people rushing around. We deal with travel stuff like train tickets and car trips for families. It isn't a glossy office with neon signs. It’s more of a practical place where we have some desks and a lot of registers. We spend a lot of time on the phone with hotels or checking the train schedules which can be a real headache sometimes. People drop in when they are heading to the airport or if they live nearby in Rajbari Colony. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days but they keep the air moving. It gets hot in the summer and the door stays open to let people in. We don’t do big fancy presentations. We just write things down and try to get people where they want to go. The area around 2 No Gate is always crowded, so finding a place to park can be tough, but locals know the shortcuts. It is just a regular travel shop doing regular work for regular people.
