You can find Guru Nanak Travels right on B T Road, specifically at 141/A. We are very close to the ISI and the Dunlop Gurudwara, which makes it easy for people to spot us when they’re stuck in the usual traffic on that road. It’s a noisy part of Kolkata, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the buses and trucks going by all day. We’ve been running this travel desk for quite some time now. We handle a lot of different things, like booking cars or helping people figure out their bus routes and train tickets. It’s not a fancy setup with leather chairs or anything like that. It’s a working office. We have maps, some old calendars on the wall, and a lot of paperwork. Usually, someone drops in because they need a vehicle for a family trip or they’re heading out for work and need a reliable driver. We know most of the drivers around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to make sure the person who walks in gets what they need. Sometimes we’re a bit slow if the internet is acting up, but we always get the job done eventually. It’s just a normal, local business. We appreciate when people from the neighborhood stop by to chat about their plans. It keeps things interesting for us while we sit here on B T Road.
