Getaway Journeys

Our office for Getaway Journeys is located at 2/1 Maharaja Tagore Road. We’re pretty close to the Dhakuria bus stop, so it’s easy to get to by public transport. The area is a bit more relaxed than the center of the city, which suits us just fine. We have a straightforward setup here. It’s where we sit and handle all the travel arrangements that come our way. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most of the people who use our services are local folks from around Dhakuria or Jadavpur. We spend our days on the phone, checking availability for trains and flights. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, making sure dates and names are all correct. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the printouts and files, but we know where everything is. We don't try to sound like a big travel agency. We’re just a small group of people who know how to get things booked. If you’re planning a trip, we just give you the options and let you decide. It’s a very low-pressure environment. We usually have some tea and snacks around while we work. It keeps us going through the busy afternoons. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we really like the neighborhood vibe. It feels like home.
