G. K. Granite Exp.

We have been here at Durganagar Colony for quite a while now. G. K. Granite Exp. is basically just us working with stone every single day. If you come by 4-1977A, you’ll see the slabs leaning against the walls and the guys moving things around. It gets pretty dusty, honestly. That is just how it is when you deal with granite. We spend most of our mornings checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but we keep busy. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workplace with heavy lifting and a lot of measuring. Sometimes the trucks take a bit of time to get through the narrow parts of the colony, but we manage. We’ve seen the area change over the years. We started small and just kept going. People know us around here because we have been in the same spot for so long. There is a lot of noise from the cutting machines, but that is the sound of work getting done. We don't have a big marketing team. It is just a few of us making sure the stone looks right and gets where it needs to go. We keep our records in big ledgers and mostly talk to people face to face. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep the gates open and handle the work as it comes in.
