Baid Marble & Tiles

We’ve been here at Narendrapur for quite some time now, right near the Mahamehtala Municipality Office. If you know the area near Pratapgarh, you’ve probably passed by us on N.S.C. Bose Road. We mostly deal with marble and different kinds of tiles. It’s a busy spot and sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get trucks in, but we manage. My family started this because there was a lot of building going on around here. We keep a good amount of stock on the floor so people can actually see what they are buying. It’s dusty work and there’s always something to move or stack. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the slabs and tiles. Most days involve talking to contractors or homeowners who are trying to figure out their flooring. We show them what’s available, tell them the price, and that’s about it. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood. We don’t do much advertising. Usually, someone just tells their neighbor about us. The address is 12/A, and it’s easy to find once you get close to the municipality office. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the right pieces out to the sites. It's a lot of heavy lifting, and sometimes the pieces break, which is just part of the job. We're just local people working here every day and doing our thing.
