We’ve been at 2 & 3 Rifle Range Road for quite some time now. It’s right across from the Lohalpur Auto Stand, so it gets pretty busy with the three-wheelers coming and going all day. Dealing with marble is heavy work. There's always dust on our clothes and the sound of slabs being moved around. My family started this because we know stone. Most days involve checking the stock and talking to people who stop by after seeing the sign. It’s not a fancy office. We have the yard and the pieces stacked up. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy out front, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our hours here, from early morning until the sun goes down. The auto drivers know us well. If you’re looking for the spot, just tell them the Rifle Range Road address. We don't do big advertisements or anything. Most folks find us by word of mouth or just passing by on their way into town. It’s a lot of lifting and measuring. Sometimes we have a cup of tea while waiting for the next truck to arrive. It’s simple work, really. We just keep the yard open and make sure the slabs are ready. Nothing more to it than that. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the auto stand is still there. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s just us, the stone, and the noise from the street.
