Ajanta Tiles & Marble

We are located right on Sonarpur Station Road, near New Green Park. This place is usually covered in a thin layer of stone dust because that’s just the nature of the business. We handle a lot of heavy lifting here. When the trucks come in with new loads of marble and tiles, it takes a lot of effort to get everything moved and organized. I’ve been working out of this spot in Narendrapur for a long time. People from the nearby residential blocks come by when they are finally building their own houses or just fixing up a bathroom. It’s a lot of heavy slabs and boxes of ceramic tiles. My hands are usually rough from moving the pieces around. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical yard where you can see the actual stone. The weather out here can be tough, especially when it rains and we have to cover everything up quickly. Sonarpur Station Road is always busy, so there’s always noise from the passing rickshaws and cars. I spend my days talking to contractors and homeowners who are trying to figure out how many square feet they need. It’s straightforward work. We just show what we have in stock and help people load it up when they make a choice. It’s just a local stone yard doing its thing for folks in the area.
