G B Memorial Institution

G B Memorial Institution is located at 14 Jadav Ghosh Road in the Sarsuna area. It’s one of those places that feels deeply connected to the local community in this part of the city. The road can get quite messy when it rains, and we often have to deal with puddles right outside the entrance. The building itself is an older one, and we have had to do various repairs over the years to keep it in good shape for the students. Inside, the rooms are fairly simple with basic furniture and boards that have been used for decades. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find high-tech gadgets in every corner, but we have the essentials for teaching and learning. The staffroom is usually a busy place with teachers grading papers and sharing tea during their breaks. We know most of the parents by name because they live just a few streets away. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t have a massive sports field, so the kids play in the smaller open areas we have. There’s always a bit of a bustle during the morning drop-off and the afternoon pick-up, with rickshaws and cycles clogging up the lane. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the kids are safe and learning what they need to know for their futures. We might not have everything, but we make do with what we have.
