Feelings

We’ve been here at P 198, Block B on Laketown Road for quite a while now. Most people around here know the spot since we are just a minute away from the Big Ben replica. It’s a busy area and we keep things simple in the shop. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing the faces of folks who walk in. The shop name is Feelings and we just try to keep things that people actually want to buy for their homes or for gifting others. It gets a bit crowded on the weekends with all the traffic coming through Laketown, but that is just how it is in this part of Kolkata. Sometimes we are rearranging the shelves and things look a bit messy, but we find what people need eventually. We don't have a big fancy team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the doors stay open and the stock is decent. If you are walking down from the main crossing, you can’t really miss us. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and others closing down, but we are still right here. It’s not a corporate office or a high-end mall store, just a regular place where you can drop by. We handle things ourselves and if something isn't right, we fix it without making a big deal out of it.
