If you ever find yourself near the 206 Bus Stop in Salt Lake, you might see our sign. Cotswold Travels is at Aj 145, Sector 2. It’s a nice area, a bit more organized than other parts of Kolkata. We’ve been operating from this house for a while. It’s not a corporate office building. It feels more like a home office because that’s basically what it is. We handle travel arrangements for people living around Salt Lake and sometimes further out. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes. We don't use any fancy sales pitches. If someone wants to go to the hills or down to the coast, we just look at the options and tell them what it costs. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s very quiet. We spend a lot of our day checking and re-checking details because mistakes in travel are a real pain. We aren't trying to be the most famous agency in the city. We just want to keep things running smoothly for the people who trust us. Most of our clients are regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we’re just around the corner from the bus stop. It’s a practical, local way to run a business. No frills, just getting the work done every day while we watch the buses go by.
