Caravan Travels

You can find us at 48/23 on Pottery Road in the Tangra area. It’s an old part of Kolkata with a lot of history and narrow streets. Caravan Travels has been operating out of this small space for a while now. We deal with bookings and travel arrangements for people in the neighborhood. The office isn't very big. We have a couple of computers and a lot of paper schedules pinned to the boards. Tangra is known for many things, and we're just one small business among many here. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions or advice on where to go for a holiday. We do our best to find something that fits their needs. It’s not about being a giant corporation. We know our customers by name usually. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the post office nearby. We handle the tickets, the paperwork, and the occasional phone call from someone who got lost on their trip. It’s just how things go here. We open up in the morning and stay until the work is done. No fancy slogans, just a desk and a chair and some travel maps on the wall. We just charge what is needed to stay open because we live here too. If there's a problem with a booking, we sit down and try to fix it right away. It's a simple way to run a business.
