Our office is located at 12, India Exchange Place. That’s where Borojalingah Braes Tea Co. is based. India Exchange Place is a very busy street, full of history and old buildings. We like being in this part of the city, even if it is a bit loud and crowded. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks and cabinets that have been here longer than I have. We work in the tea trade, which means there is always a lot to keep track of. It’s not just about the tea itself, but all the logistics that go into it. We aren't a flashy company. We don't have a social media team or anything like that. We just talk to people on the phone and send out letters and emails. Sometimes the building gets a bit drafty in the winter, but we just wear sweaters and keep going. It’s a steady job. Most of us at Borojalingah Braes Tea Co. have been here for a long time. We know the routines and we know what needs to happen every morning when we open up. It’s just us at number 12, doing our best to keep things running smoothly. There’s no big corporate philosophy here. We just work, take our breaks, and handle the tea business as it comes. It's been our way for a long time now and we're used to it.
