Bllue Bird

Bllue Bird is located at No. 27/3 on Sarat Bose Road. It’s a busy street, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside our windows. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of history to it. We have been here for a good number of years now. Our space is not very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things. There are shelves lined with supplies and a counter where we talk to anyone who comes in. It feels more like a workshop than a formal business office. We don't wear uniforms and we don't have a script for how we talk to people. Most of our regulars are folks from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for a long time. They know we’re just a small operation. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we usually clean it up by the end of the week. We like being on Sarat Bose Road because everything we need is close by. The light in the afternoons is quite nice through the front windows. We don't have any big goals of becoming a huge chain. We just want to keep doing what we do at this same spot. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that suits us just fine.
