Be Bonnie

Our place is right on Jessor Road in Madhyamgram. It’s a busy spot, 380/1 is the number if you’re looking for the building. Be Bonnie has been a part of this neighborhood for a while. We do all the usual things you’d expect from a place like this. Hair, skin, those kinds of things. It’s not a massive salon, but it’s got enough room for everyone to feel okay while they’re getting something done. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re in a movie. It’s just us doing our jobs. The fans are always going because it gets warm, and there’s usually some music playing in the background to keep things lively. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturday afternoons, but that’s just how it goes around here. We know most of the ladies who come in by their first names. They tell us about their families while we work on their hair. It’s a friendly place. We aren't trying to be the fanciest shop in Kolkata, just a reliable one for the people living nearby. If the chairs are full, there’s a bit of a wait, but we try to be quick without rushing the work. It’s practical. We like seeing people leave looking a bit better than when they walked through the door. It’s a simple life and a simple business, but it keeps us busy from morning to night. We wouldn't have it any other way.
