B M Small Industries

Our business, B M Small Industries, is over on Nirode Behari Mullick Road. We are at number 14, near Beadon Street. It’s an old part of the city and we like the feel of it. The building has been around for a while and so have we. We don’t have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people hear about us from someone else who’s been here before. The workspace is a bit cramped, but that’s just how it is in these older neighborhoods. We’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space at number 14. Beadon Street is just a short walk away, so there’s always people walking past. We focus on the small stuff, hence the name. It’s hard work sometimes, but we enjoy it. The air in the shop always smells a bit like metal and oil. It’s a familiar scent that makes us feel at home. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We know the tea seller on the corner and the other shopkeepers nearby. It feels like a little community. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as they come. It’s a modest way to run a business, but it suits us just fine. If you come by, you might have to wait a minute while we finish something up. We don't have many chairs for visitors, but we're friendly enough. We just focus on the work.
