Amol Nandy & Co. is based at 147 N. S. Road. This part of the city has a lot of history, and you can see it in the buildings around here. We have been at this address for a long time now. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden furniture and stacks of paper that seem to grow every week. We don't really use much fancy technology, just the basics to get the job done. It’s a quiet place compared to the busy street outside. We handle our business matters with a lot of care. People know us in this neighborhood because we’ve been here through so many changes. We see the same faces passing by every morning. We don’t really do any big marketing or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have known the family or the business for decades. It’s a steady kind of life. We take our tea breaks at the same time every day and talk about what’s going on in the news. Sometimes the overhead fan squeaks, but we don't mind it much. It’s just how the place is. We try to be direct with everyone who walks through the door. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just do our work, keep our records straight, and go home when the clock strikes five in the evening.
