Ashwin Electro Industrial Corporation

Our office is at 3 / C Madan Street, which is right in the middle of a very crowded part of the city. If you’ve ever been here, you know that parking a car is basically impossible. Most of our customers come by on foot or use a two-wheeler. The building we are in has seen better days, and the walls have that old yellow color. We supply electrical parts and industrial stuff, so the whole place is packed with cardboard boxes from floor to ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly which pile has what we need. Ashwin is the name on the door, but there’s a small group of us who have been working together here for a decade. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers from all over. The street outside is always noisy with people shouting and horns honking. During the monsoon, the humidity makes everything feel a bit damp, so we keep a small fan running at each desk. We aren't big on technology; we still use a lot of paper forms and rubber stamps. It’s just a traditional way of doing business that seems to work fine for us. We have our tea together every afternoon and talk about the news. It’s a quiet, steady life in a very loud neighborhood.
