Anshika Forgings Private Limited, Kolkata

We are located over at 77 Netaji Subhash Road, right in the heart of Kolkata. Our office is number 406. It’s an old building, like many around here, but it serves us well enough. Working in forgings means dealing with a lot of technical details every day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at paperwork for various projects. The area is always buzzing with people and vehicles, especially being in the 700 001 zip code area. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in these streets. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been around for years. We handle the business side of things from this office. It gets a bit humid in the summers, as you’d expect in Kolkata, but we just get on with it. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just make sure the forgings are handled right and shipped to where they belong. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, so we try not to move too much heavy stuff through here if we can help it. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the schedule. Nothing more, nothing less. Just people working hard in an old Kolkata office block. We hope to stay here for a long time because we've gotten used to the noise and the rhythm.
