A S Abdullabhoy & Co is based in Century Plaza, which is at 81 Netaji Subhash Road. We are on the ground floor, in Room Number 10. Being on Netaji Subhash Road means we are right in the middle of a very busy commercial hub. It’s a lot of old buildings and people rushing around with carts and bundles. Our room is small and packed with files and ledgers. We’ve been here for a long time, and the walls probably have a lot of stories to tell if they could talk. We don’t really go for fancy decorations. We have our desks, our chairs, and our stacks of paperwork. Most of our work involves coordinating between different parties and making sure the supplies are moving as they should. It’s a lot of phone calls and quick meetings in the hallway. Sometimes the plaza gets a bit crowded, and it can be hard to move around, but that’s the nature of doing business in this part of the city. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. It’s simple, really. We value the relationships we’ve built with other traders in the building. We’re just a regular office doing our thing day in and day out. If you’re looking for us, just head to the ground floor of Century Plaza; we’re usually there until the evening. We keep a small kettle for making coffee when things get quiet.
