Archana'S Creations

Archana'S Creations is based in New Alipore, specifically at 1 Haridas Daw Road. We are on the 1st floor, so you have to walk up a short flight of stairs to get to us. The neighborhood is quite nice, with a lot of trees and old houses around. We like it here because it feels more like a home than a business district. The room we work in has a big window that looks out onto the street, and we often see the same people walking their dogs every morning. We do a lot of our own designing and making right here on the tables. It’s often a bit messy with chalk marks and measuring tapes lying around, but that's how we work best. We aren't interested in being a big corporate brand; we just like making things that look good and fit well. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a neighbor dropping off some snacks. New Alipur is a place where people know each other, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We started this with just a couple of ideas and it grew slowly. There's no pressure here, just the sound of the machines and the occasional radio playing in the background. It’s a peaceful way to spend the day, even when we have a lot of orders to finish.
