Akash Tourism

We are situated at 123 Raja S C Mallick Road in Kolkata. If you know the Garia More area, we are right by the 5 No Bus Stand. It is a very loud and busy part of the city, with buses constantly honking and people rushing to catch their rides. Akash Tourism has been at this location for a bit, and we are quite used to the chaos outside. Inside the office, things are a bit calmer, though we usually have the radio playing or someone is talking loudly on the phone. We don't have a polished look here. There are maps on the wall that have been there for years and stacks of brochures that we keep meaning to organize better. Our day mostly consists of answering questions about bus timings or helping people figure out how to get to the hills. Since we are so close to the bus stand, we get a lot of people just popping their heads in to ask for directions or quick info. We don't mind it. It is just part of being in Garia. We try to be honest with people about what is available and what isn't. If a hotel is full or a road is blocked, we say so. There is no point in making things sound better than they are. We just work through the bookings one by one and try to keep our paperwork in order despite the noise from the street.
