Vivekanand Saraswati Shishu Mandir Inter College

We are located over in Barra, Kanpur, right by the Neemeshwar Mahamandir Society on the Bypass Road. If you know the area, you’ve probably seen the Vivekanand Saraswati Shishu Mandir Inter College building while driving past. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the students are all arriving for their classes. We spend most of our time here just managing the daily schedule and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next lesson. The noise from the Bypass Road is a constant background sound, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. Inside the gates, things are a bit more orderly. The teachers are usually seen carrying stacks of books or talking to parents near the entrance. It’s a local place where families from around the society send their children. We don't have anything too flashy, just the basic stuff you need for a school to run. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with every day and the building always needs some kind of small repair. We keep the fans running during the hot months and try to make the space comfortable for everyone who comes here. It is just a regular school life for us in this part of Kanpur. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there are exams or local festivals happening nearby. We just take it one day at a time and focus on the work right in front of us.
