The Chintels School

You will find us at 121 H I G in Ratan Lal Nagar. It is a familiar spot for most people living around this part of town. The school building has been part of the neighborhood for quite a while now. Every morning the street gets a bit crowded with cycles and parents dropping off their kids before they head to work. We do not have a massive campus that goes on for miles, but we make good use of every corner we have. The hallways are always filled with charts and drawings that the kids made last week. Some of them are a bit crooked or have some glue sticking out, but that is fine. It feels like a second home to those of us who spend our whole day here. The bells ring loud enough to hear three blocks away. We have a small staff and we know almost every student by their first name. It is not one of those huge places where you are just a number on a spreadsheet. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider and keep going with the lesson. Life in Ratan Lal Nagar is busy, but once you step inside the gate, things follow a different rhythm. We have some trees in the courtyard where the older kids sit during their free periods. It is a simple setup and we just focus on the books and the exams.
