Government Girls School

The Government Girls School is tucked away on C V Mosses Street in Pammal. Our address is No 6, and it’s a familiar sight for anyone living around this part of Chennai. The street itself is not too wide, so it can get a little cramped when the school day starts or ends. You see the students in their uniforms walking down from the main road, carrying their lunch boxes and books. We focus on providing a place for the girls in the neighborhood to get their education without having to travel too far. The building has seen many years of students passing through its doors. It’s a simple structure with several classrooms and a small area where we keep the records. We don’t have much in the way of fancy equipment, but we have the essentials for teaching. The atmosphere is usually quite busy, with voices echoing through the halls and the sound of chalk on boards. Pammal is a crowded area, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes you can hear the birds in the trees outside the windows during the quieter moments of a lesson. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth and being here on C V Mosses Street for a long time is how people find us. It’s just a hardworking school trying to do its part for the local kids in the 600075 area.
