Madhwapur Farmer Producer Company Limited

If you look for us, we are located over at Jibachh Mahto’s place in Baswaria, Sahar South Madhwapur. This company is really just a collection of us farmers from the local area who wanted to have a bit more say in how our crops are sold. We’ve lived in Madhwapur forever, so we know every corner of these fields. The work is hard and the sun is hot, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any fancy suits or big city offices. Our meetings happen right there in the village, usually after the day's work is finished. We talk about the rain, the prices, and how we can get better seeds for next year. It's a producer company, which sounds official, but it’s really just neighbors helping neighbors. We take care of the sorting and making sure the produce is ready for whoever is buying. Sometimes we run into problems with transport or the market prices drop, but we just deal with it as a group. Jibachh Mahto helps keep everything organized at his house. There is always someone coming or going with a cart or a bag of grain. We just want to keep farming the way we know how, but with a bit more organization so we don't get taken advantage of. It is basic, local life, and we are proud of the work we put in every day. The neighbors stop by often just to chat.
