You can find Goroimari Farmer Producer Company at House Number 98, known locally as Mazumdar Bhawan in Bhitor Duar. It’s a simple setup we have there. We are just a collective of farmers from the Goroimari area. Farming here has its own set of challenges, especially with the local geography. We work together to figure out the best times for planting and harvesting. The group was formed because we were all tired of struggling on our own. Now, we sit down at the Bhawan and talk through our problems. It might be about where to get the best fertilizer or how to fix a broken tool. We don't have a big staff or a fancy office. It’s mostly just us, the people who actually work the dirt. We grow a variety of things depending on what the market needs and what our land can handle. Sometimes the harvest is great, and sometimes it’s just okay. That’s the nature of this life. We don't try to sugarcoat it. We just wake up, go to the fields, and do the best we can. The community in Bhitor Duar is tight-knit, so we all look out for one another. That’s really what this producer company is about at the end of the day. We are just trying to make sure everyone gets a fair chance to sell what they grow and keep their homes running.
