Sabitas Kitchen

Our kitchen is located in the Biswas Building on the Main Road in Bistupur. It’s a very busy part of Jamshedpur, right next to Hotel Siddhartha and across from the Ram Mandir. We started this place because we wanted to cook for people. It’s not a fancy restaurant with a big staff. It’s more of a small kitchen where we do everything ourselves. We get a lot of people coming in after visiting the mandir. The space is a bit small and it can get quite crowded during the lunch hour. We don't have a professional manager or a polished look. The walls have a few marks and the furniture is just basic. We focus on getting the food right. We buy our vegetables from the local market and meat from our regular butcher. We don't have a printed menu that looks like a book. It’s just a simple list of what we can cook well. Sometimes we run out of things early if the crowd is big. We don't have any other branches or a big website. Most people find us because they are walking by on Main Road. We try to keep the prices low so that regular workers can eat here every day. It’s hard work and the kitchen is always noisy with the sound of frying. But we like it here in Bistupur. It’s our way of being part of the city. We just keep things practical and real.
