Maynaguri Nabaday Farmer Producer Company Limited is also located at Chinmaynanda Roy’s place in Chapghar, Amguri. Even though we share a spot with others we have our own way of doing things here in Maynaguri. The name Nabaday means something like a new beginning and that is what we were hoping for when we started this up in Jalpaiguri. It’s a lot of work to get a producer company off the ground when you are just regular folks from the village. We don't have any fancy degrees or big city experience. We just know about the crops that grow well in this soil and how to talk to our neighbors. The 735224 area code is home for us and we plan to stay here. Sometimes we struggle with the paperwork because the government rules can be a bit confusing but we help each other figure it out. Our office is a busy place during the harvest season with people coming in to register their yields or talk about what they need for the next planting. We don't have a website or anything like that because most people just walk over or call us on the phone. It’s a basic operation but it serves the people who live here in Chapghar and Amguri. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things honest without making any huge promises we can't keep.
