Down in Jalpaiguri, specifically at Plot No-7105 in Satpukuria, you’ll find our little office. We are the Satpukuria Farmers Producer Company Limited. Being located right near the Falakata police station means we are easy to find for anyone in the village. We aren't a corporate giant; we’re just a collective of local farmers trying to manage our business in a way that makes sense. The office is usually a bit noisy with people coming in and out, talking about the latest harvest or the price of supplies. We don’t have any fancy marketing people telling us what to say. We just speak our minds and do the work that needs doing. Life in West Bengal revolves around the seasons, and so does our company. We keep an eye on the weather and try to prepare for whatever comes our way. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it eventually. We’re proud to be part of the Jalpaiguri community and we know most of the people who walk through our door by their first names. We don’t have any big slogans or complex plans.
