Our place is Nabodiganta Farmers Producer Companylimited and you can find us at Jl No-138, Kh No-107 in Mouza-Kalapunja. It is situated right in Kalapunja village, which falls under the Sishusadan post office area in Ramnagar. If you know the roads around here, it isn’t hard to spot us. We spend most of our time dealing with the local farmers and the land records. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, but mostly it is about what is growing in the fields. The office is small and usually has a few people sitting around talking about the weather or the price of supplies. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks that come with being a producer company. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait, or we walk down to the village square to get some tea and chat. The people here have been working these fields for a long time. Ramnagar is a decent place to work, even if the roads get a bit muddy during the rainy season. We have our records sorted by Khata and Mouza numbers because that is how things are done here. It’s not a polished business with a lot of shine. It’s just a group of people from Kalapunja trying to get the best out of their hard work. We keep it simple and don't try to be something we aren't. It is just life on the farm.
