Dhupguri Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Purba Daukimari. You can find us at Dilip Kumar Adhikari’s place. It’s a local setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. We are right in the heart of the farming area in Dhupguri. A lot of us have grown up here and we know the land pretty well. Our daily routine involves a lot of walking around and checking in with the different members. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to keep the records straight and manage the crops. Being a producer company means we are mostly just a bunch of neighbors working together. It gets pretty busy during the harvest season. There are sacks of produce everywhere and everyone is rushing around. Sometimes we sit under the shade and just talk about the season. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don’t really do advertisements or anything. Most people know us just by word of mouth. If you come looking for us, you’ll probably find us sorting through paperwork or out in the yard. We’ve had some tough years with the rain, but we manage to keep going. It’s just a simple life here in Dhupguri, trying to make sure the farmers get a fair shake. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a solid local group.
