Basundhara Farmer Producer Company Limited

Basundhara Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Dhupguri, in a place called Chander Danga within Purba Salbari. We are just a group of local farmers who work together, and we usually coordinate things through Shanti Ranjan Sarkar. Our setup is very basic and practical. We don't have a big office with secretaries or fancy coffee machines. Usually, we just meet up and talk about what we are going to plant or how we are going to get our harvest to the market. We are all people who have spent our whole lives working with the soil in this part of West Bengal. We don't have any polished mission statements because we are too busy with the actual work. We formed this company because it makes more sense to buy supplies and sell our goods as a larger group. It's just common sense. Life in Purba Salbari is quiet and revolves around the seasons. We don't really care for corporate language or trying to sound more important than we are. We are just a bunch of neighbors in Dhupguri trying to make a decent living. If you ever come by Chander Danga, you'll find us working away. We are proud of what we do, but we don't feel the need to shout about it. We just let our work in the fields speak for itself and hope for good rain.
