Maynaguri Samaj Kalyan Farmers Producer Company Limited is at Plot No.- 2712 in Betgara, Harirvita. We are located at Bidhan Mandal’s place, who is the son of Kalachand Mandal. This is in Jalpaiguri, 735224. It is a very local operation and we are right in the middle of the community here. Being a farmers producer company, we are always seeing people from the nearby fields. The office is basically a room at Bidhan’s place where we keep all the files and have our meetings. It is a practical setup and we don’t spend money on things we don't need. Jalpaiguri can be quite beautiful with all the greenery, especially after it rains. We spend our mornings getting things ready and then the rest of the day is usually spent dealing with whatever issues come up. It is not always easy, but it is the work we do. We know everyone around Betgara and Harirvita, so it feels more like a community project than a big company. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just want to make sure the work gets done and that we are here when people need to talk to us about the farm stuff. It is just us here, working in the same village where we live. We just do our bit every day to keep things moving.
