Our place is located in Purba Magurmari. We are part of the Dhupguri block, and our office is at Plot Number 2246. The post office is Gossairhat. We are the Dangapara Farmers Producer Company Limited. We started this because we needed a way for the local farmers to join together. It’s a very rural spot, and we spend most of our time out in the fields. We don't have a big corporate building with lots of staff. It’s just a few of us handling the main work from a small room near the plot. We don't use any marketing words or try to sound more important than we are. We’re just farmers from the village. Life here is mostly about the seasons and the crops. Sometimes the rain is good, and sometimes it isn't. We just deal with it as it comes. We meet up at the plot to discuss what we need to do for the next harvest. It’s a simple way of working, but it works for us. Everyone in Purba Magurmari knows who we are. We’ve all lived here for generations. The company is just a way for us to be a bit more official when we sell our stuff. We don't have any big brochures or fancy speeches. We just want to do our farming and look after our families. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it.
