Biswarup Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Chapghar Amguri in the Maynaguri area. We work from the place of Chinmaynanda Roy. It is a local spot in Jalpaiguri where a lot of us gather to figure out the farming business. Our pincode is 735224 and we have been around here for quite a while. Farming in this part of West Bengal is what we have always done. We decided to form this company so we could handle the producer side of things together. It is not a very formal place. Most of the time we are just sitting around talking about the crops or the market prices for the week. We deal with all sorts of local produce and try to make sure things are moving as they should. Sometimes the roads are bad or the rain stops us, but we manage. It is a small community and everyone knows each other. We are not looking to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually pays off. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our books and records. You can usually find one of us there during the day. It is practical work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land in Maynaguri.
