Shri Apartment

Living or working around Shastri Nagar means you probably know the area near Vinayak Bank pretty well. Our place, A-32, is right in that mix. Shri Apartment isn't one of those massive glass towers you see in the newer parts of the city. It is just a solid building where people go about their daily lives. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the basic maintenance that comes with an older property. There is always a pipe that needs looking at or a hallway that needs a sweep. Being near the bank means it stays pretty active outside during the day. You hear the scooters and the street vendors passing by all the time. It is a bit noisy sometimes but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We don't have a big management team with uniforms. It is mostly just us making sure the gates are locked at night and the water tanks are filled up in the morning. People here mostly keep to themselves but everyone knows who is who. If you are walking down the lane, you will see the nameplate clearly. We handle the rent stuff and the repairs without making a big fuss about it. It’s just a place to stay and we try to keep it decent for everyone who lives here. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes the lift acts up, but we get it sorted as fast as we can.
