Jai Jinendra Namkeens

Jai Jinendra Namkeens is tucked away in Vasundhara Colony, right at A-1 near the Gopalpura Byepass. This area stays busy with people commuting, so we see a lot of travelers and locals looking for a quick snack. The shop is usually smelling like fried spices and chickpea flour because we’re always bringing in fresh batches of sev and bhujia. We keep everything in those big glass jars and plastic packets lined up on the shelves. It’s a small space, so when three or four people come in at once, it feels a bit cramped. We spend a lot of time weighing out bags and sealing them up. Our hands are usually a bit oily by the end of the shift. The floor needs a lot of sweeping because of the crumbs. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just have a counter and the racks. Some days the delivery trucks arrive late and we have to scramble to get everything organized before the evening rush starts. We don't really do a lot of advertising; people just know we're here because they see the sign from the bypass. It’s a straightforward business. We show up early to open the shutters and stay until we’ve finished serving the last few people heading home after work. It’s a good spot to be in, even if the traffic noise outside never really stops during the day.
