Mathur Narian Bihari

Mathur Narian Bihari is based at C 9 in Shastri Nagar, right near Hari Nagr. It’s a residential area that has slowly turned into a place where a lot of small businesses operate from their homes or small ground-floor units. Our office is one of those places. It's not always easy to find if you're not from around here, as the lanes can get a bit confusing. Once you find C 9, you’ll see we keep things very basic. There’s a desk, some chairs, and a lot of books. We don't have a team of people in suits. It's just a local operation. We've lived and worked in this part of Delhi for years. The morning usually starts with the sound of the vegetable vendors passing by outside. We open up the shutters and get to work on whatever is on the desk. Sometimes friends from the neighborhood stop by just to say hello, which can slow things down, but we don't mind the company. We handle the tasks as they come. There isn't a grand strategy here. We just try to be honest with people and do a decent job. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We're more focused on getting the files sorted than how the office looks to outsiders. It is a humble place, but it serves us well.
