We are over here at 411 in Devi Nagar, which most people know is right in Sodala. It is a busy spot and we have been at this for a long time now. Usually, the day starts quite early because the sweets don't make themselves. You can see the sugar being boiled and the milk being thickened from the street if you walk by at the right time. Ganesh Misthan Bhandar & Caterers isn't a fancy place with big glass windows or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we keep things moving. The catering side of things keeps us even busier, especially when there are weddings or small functions around Jaipur. We pack up the trucks and head out from Sodala to wherever the party is. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to get the vans out on time, but we manage somehow. The floors are often a bit sticky from the syrup and there is always a lot of noise from the pots clanging in the back. Customers come in for a quick bite or to order a few kilos of something for their home. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. If you are looking for us, we are just down the lane from the main crossing. It is a simple setup but it works for us and the people who live around here.
