Laxmi Sweets Caterers

If you ever pass through Barkat Ngr Chauraha, you might have seen us. Laxmi Sweets Caterers is located at S-56A, right there near the crossroads. Tonk Pathak is a crowded area, so there is always noise from the scooters and buses outside. We spend most of our mornings getting the sweets ready in the back. It gets hot near the stoves, especially in the summer months, but we are used to it by now. We also do catering for weddings and small family functions around the city. Usually, someone from the family is always at the shop to talk to customers. We don't have a big corporate office or a website where you can order things easily. People usually just walk in or give us a call on the phone when they need something for a party. We’ve been here at this chauraha for quite a long time. The neighborhood has changed a lot, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down, but we are still here. Sometimes it's hard to find parking near the shop because the road is so narrow. We just focus on making the traditional sweets the way we learned years ago. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy pots and packing boxes by hand. We aren't trying to be the biggest in town, just trying to do our job every day. It's a busy life but we enjoy being part of the community.
