The Bhagya lakhmi mfg. works

Our workshop is down at 27/1/2, Brindabon Mallick Lane in Kadamtala. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else’s business. The Bhagya lakhmi mfg. works has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We do a lot of manufacturing work, mostly involving metal parts and basic fabrication. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of heavy machinery squeezed into the shop, but we make it work. Every morning, we roll up the shutters and start the day with a bit of cleaning before the real work begins. You can hear the sounds of hammering and cutting echoing down the lane all through the afternoon. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the time evening rolls around. We don't have a big sign or a fancy website. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we do decent work. We sit on small stools during our lunch break and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a simple life, focused on making things that people need. We don’t believe in overcomplicating the process. If someone needs something made, we look at the specs and get to work. Brindabon Mallick Lane is a busy place, and we are glad to be a small part of the daily hustle and bustle here in Kadamtala. It is where we belong.
