If you know G.T Road in Howrah, you probably know how busy it gets around the Maidan area. That’s where you’ll find Paramount Appliances, right at number 15. We’ve been selling home stuff here for quite some time. It’s a typical shop where we keep all sorts of things for the kitchen and house. We’ve got stoves, fans, and those kinds of everyday things that people always need. It’s loud outside with all the traffic, but inside we just focus on helping whoever walks through the door. Usually, it's neighbors or people passing by who need a new mixer or maybe their old iron stopped working. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and music. It’s just a regular store with stacks of boxes and a few of us who know where everything is kept. People come to us because we’ve been in the same spot for years and they know we aren't going anywhere. We talk to our customers like normal people, no sales pitches or anything. If a fridge is too big for your kitchen, we'll tell you. We just want to make sure you get something that actually works when you get it home. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we keep things moving. It’s a basic business, run by people who live nearby and understand what a household needs to keep running smoothly. We don't try to be anything more than a shop that's actually here when you need it.
