You can find our place at J-5 in the Howrah Industrial Estate in Baltikuri. This whole area is nothing but warehouses and factories, so it can be a bit confusing to navigate if you aren't used to it. Maurya Foundry Aids has been operating out of this same shed for a good while now. It’s a big open space that gets pretty hot in the summer, but we’ve got some fans to keep the air moving. We make things that foundries use, which is a very specific and often dirty kind of job. There’s soot on the walls and our clothes are never clean for long. We don't have any sales people in suits running around. It’s just the guys on the floor and a small desk where we keep the paperwork. The noise from the other factories around us is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most of our customers have been buying from us for years and they know where to find us. We just focus on getting the orders ready on time. Sometimes the logistics of getting trucks in and out of the estate is a headache, but that’s just part of being in Howrah. We don't try to be anything we're not. We're just a bunch of people doing a tough job in a tough part of town.
