S. N. Jana

You’ll find us at 6/1 Brojonath Lane, which is under the Buxrah post office area. S. N. Jana is the name we’ve always used. It’s a quiet enough lane most days, though it can get a bit cramped if a big vehicle tries to come through. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while now. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we do. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We handle a variety of local tasks and supplies. It’s very much a family-type atmosphere here, even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work that needs finishing by the end of the week. Buxrah is a place where people know each other, so we don’t really need much in the way of signs. Everyone knows where 6/1 is. It’s a practical setup. We have our tools and our records all kept in one main room. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we get through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job and stay busy. The lane has its quirks, like the way the rain puddles near the gate, but it’s home for the business. We keep things moving at our own pace and stay out of trouble.
