SHREE ELECTRO EQUIPMENTS is tucked away at 147A/1 on Girish Ghosh Road. This is in the Bajrangbali area, which is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with the streets around here. The road is quite narrow, and there is always something going on outside, people moving carts or small delivery vans trying to squeeze past. Our shop is full of electrical parts and various equipment piled up on shelves. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we generally know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time testing components or fixing things that people bring in. It gets quite humid here, so the ceiling fans are always humming in the background. We have a small wooden desk where we handle the paperwork, but mostly we are standing up and moving around the store. There’s a lot of old-school charm to Girish Ghosh Road, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we have stayed right here at 147A/1. Customers usually know us by name, and we prefer it that way. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are the ones to see for electro equipment in this neighborhood. It’s a small, honest business and we take things one day at a time, trying to keep the lights on for everyone who relies on us. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in with a problem to solve.
